Todd Dwane Eschen

Todd Dwane Eschen was born on May 31, 1968, at the Montevideo Hospital to Dwane and Loretta (Gebers) Eschen of Clarkfield. He was placed into God’s hands for his final trip home on March 5, 2024, at the Fairview Southdale Hospital, where he was surrounded by his family when he passed peacefully.

Todd resided in the rural Boyd/Clarkfield area his entire life. He enjoyed his life as a truck driver, starting out helping his father with the family trucking business as soon as he earned his driver’s license. He put on many miles trucking from coast to coast, along with a story to tell every mile.

You could always catch Todd in his spare time 4-wheeling, boating, and fishing with his friends and family, or simply just being with his family and friends living his best life. Todd would light up the room when he entered with his laughter, storytelling, and presence.

He is survived by his mother Loretta Eschen of Clarkfield; sister and brother-in-law, Londa and Larry Folkerts of Glenwood, MN; niece, Alona Buddy and her friend David Shea of Glenwood; nephew, Bryce and Brittany Prellwitz of Osakis; daughter, Siera, son-in law, Ricardo, and grandchildren, Everleigh, Mateo of Mason City, Iowa, and many other family and friends.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, March 30th from 2-4 PM at the J.H. Lynner Funeral Home in Clarkfield.
